Community guidelines

Murmur is for quiet co-working and chill sessions. Treat other members the way you would in a shared cafe: keep the vibe calm, respectful, and focused.

Each account may host one room at a time. If you want a new room, dissolve your current one first. Do not create rooms solely to spam the public lobby or to impersonate others.

Hosts may set join limits, passwords, and feature toggles (chat, board, video). Guests should respect those settings.

Do not post:

• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeted bullying
• Spam, scams, phishing links, or repeated flood messages
• NSFW, illegal content, or anything that exploits minors
• Personal data of others without their clear consent

Keep messages reasonably short. Board notes are for light sticky thoughts, not long essays or ads.

Ambient sound and background video are optional mood tools. Use headphones in shared physical spaces. Do not use Murmur to stream or distribute copyrighted material you do not have rights to.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of digital consent in your region, get a parent or guardian’s permission where required.

We may remove content, restrict rooms, or suspend accounts that break these guidelines. Serious or illegal abuse may be reported to relevant authorities.
